Digital to Analogue Converter

The USB version is essentially a DAC III (SE) with an integrated USB interface in full size chassis like the Balanced version just without signal OPTs, larger power supplies & power tube output stage.

For higher perfomance, there are Balanced versions of the DAC III is equipped with signal output transformers (OTPs) providing true balanced and single ended ouputs however wtithout the USB interface.

For maximum synergy, musical & analogue character, all Single-Ended & Balanced versions were designed to be paired with our VDT Digital Source products.

DAC III is currently available in following versions:

SE (compact chassis) + VDT Digital Source
USB (with USB interface in larger, full size chassis)
CDP III (with VDT 1/2 in full size chassis)

Circuit is wired with of a specially selected copper (single strand or Litz)
